Maggie had been unable to leave the city that never sleeps after college graduation. There was this sort of draw to the city that made you either love it or hate it, but for Maggie it was more about the people watching. She could sit at any coffee shop in the city and learn so much about people and personalities. It seemed to her that she was learning more in the real world than she ever had from any textbook. Her parents had been none to excited to hear about her plans to work for a year before tackling graduate school, but Maggie was burnt out on school. She needed the time off. The books had grown heavy on her mind, and as much as she liked to study and read it was just too much for her. It was her best friend who had always been there to support her, and she was so thankful to have him still in the city with her.
It had been a long day for Maggie. She had pulled a double at the restaurant where she was currently working. Her entire body hurt. She thought about going straight home for a hot bath, but she decided against it. She picked up her phone and dialed his number. She knew that if he were available he would answer. She was already on her way to his place anyway.
The phone was ringing as she was walking in the general direction of the subway. She counted each of the rings as she watched her feet. She tended to do this as she walked to avoid tripping over them. Her black slip resistant sneakers quickly moving along as her feet shifted through the crowd. Her black dress smelling of grease and smoke from the restaurant, and she was sure her hair smelled similar. Things in the real world weren't easy. So many men were hitting on her today, and she played along for a larger tip. The truth was that she had no interest in looking for romance at the moment, and she certainly wasn't looking for it at the restaurant. Her body felt as if the aches were going away when she finally hung up the phone. She texted him to let him know she was stopping by instead of waiting on him to answer. If he were buys then he wouldn't answer the door anyway. She felt good until she found a seat on the subway. Her body collapsed and the aches took over. His stop wasn't too far away, and she made sure not to miss it. Her now tired feeling body pushing forward until she could finally buzz up to his apartment. She hoped he was home.

*I live in the PST time zone, but have flexible hours when it comes to rp. I do have a life and a job, which will always take first priority so please understand that this is a game (a hobby).
*I'm willing to play both guys and girls, but I request that you don't take advantage of me by requesting more than 1 storyline for yourself with me playing the same sex in both lines (there may be times when I want to request a line with you where I would be doing just this and that is acceptable)
*I do het or femme. Slash would have to be done in a mature and realistic manner. I do not play slashy boys often and when I do they aren't going to have sex with you or your character 24/7.
*Not all of my characters are happy go lucky, and I do enjoy some rp drama. If you have extreme storylines you want feel free to ask, but understand that there must be some balance.
*Don't flake. If you requested a line and its not working out the way you like then talk to me, and we can end the line. I don't look forward to waiting days or weeks for replies, but I do understand sometimes it happens. I just ask that you don't make a habit of taking a week to make a reply, because I won't.
